Biography

Nothing beats that original, old-school flow. It gets under your skin, and before you know you are in a trance, moving along with the beat, completely engrossed. That is what Ny'AciesDivine is all about. With a style reminiscent of legends like Tupac and DMX, Ny'Acies sticks to his roots and is a breath of fresh air in a sea full of autotuned, mumble rappers.

Ny'Acies Divine has always been different, more in-tune with his emotions and those of the people around him. His childhood was tough, moving around from Chicago, Memphis, and Detroit. All he saw around was cruelty and suffering. His artistic expression was his voice, and he wrote poetry that could make sense of the mindless violence around him. He started making music when he returned to Chicago, and since then, he has been unstoppable.  His music is fearless but versatile, with a song for every emotion. From smooth and romantic to hard and angry, Ny'Acies has sounds and lyrics that take you on a roller coaster. But in the end, it's the music you need. You feel exhilarated but healed.

Ny'Acies Divine is more than a rapper. He is an innovator. Look no further than his musical stage play titled The Infinite Dreamer. The first hip-hop stage play of its kind, it ran from 2003 to 2010. His platform was a gift to us all and kickstarted the careers of many Chicago artists.

His most recent endeavor is a role in the action movie The Prey: Legend of Karnoctus. Initially, the plan was to act and produce one song, but that quickly became an entire soundtrack. The title track, The Prey, hits hard and perfectly encompasses the movie's vibe.

If this wasn't enough, Ny’Acies is also working on a real-time autobiography titled My Journey that highlights his music career from its beginning and includes interviews with other producers and artists as well as stories from fans.
